Business & Marketing Strategy for Nova Study Abroad

Project Overview:

Nova Study Abroad, a premium boutique international student consultancy, needed a scalable operational model and a strong digital presence to attract budget-conscious students seeking zero-tuition European public universities (Germany, Italy, etc.). My role encompassed building the entire business infrastructure from scratch. This included designing complex application workflows (Uni-Assist, Universitaly), structuring a milestone-based pricing model, and executing a “myth-busting” organic digital marketing strategy to generate high-trust inbound leads without relying heavily on paid ads.

What I Did:

  • Operational Workflows: Mapped out step-by-step systems to navigate complex European government portals (Uni-Assist for Germany, Universitaly for Italy) and scholarship applications (DSU).
  • Business & Pricing Model: Designed a high-converting, milestone-based pricing structure (€150–€500) that builds client trust, along with a profitable “A La Carte” add-on system for extra applications.
  • Targeted Organic Marketing: Launched a “myth-busting” content strategy (focusing on zero-tuition facts) and a highly targeted community funnel. We specifically targeted international students already residing in Hungary to leverage late-deadline EU loopholes, generating warm leads without zero ad spend.

Results:

  • Streamlined the agency’s backend so case managers can easily track complex deadlines and credit requirements (NC vs. Non-NC).
  • Successfully processed complex admissions and enrollment procedures (e.g., University of Milan).
  • Built a sustainable, zero-ad-spend lead generation system by positioning the brand as a highly trusted, transparent industry expert.

Tools Used: Google Workspace (Sheets for tracking), Notion, Canva, Facebook & Telegram (Community Lead Gen).
